Sarah Maria Maus was born  in Germany (1992). She started dancing at the age of three. Alongside the ballet program of the Royal Academy of Dance, she also took classes in modern dance and hip hop. When she was fourteen, she left her home to continue her dance education at Tanzgymnasium Essen-Werden (dance high school of Essen-Werden) where she completed her A-Level. During her continued studies at Folkwang University of the Arts, she learned from choreographers such as Susanne Linke, Henrietta Horn und Jorge Puerta and danced pieces including "Tannhäuser" by Pina Bausch and "Concerto Grosso" by José Limón. In addition to this, she gained TV and stage experience as a dancer in "zfdNEO" and as an extra at Aalto Theater.

In 2016, after her graduation, she finished her training as a Vinyasa Yoga teacher in Colone. Since 2016, she has been dancing and teaching fitness courses for TANZMOTO DANCE COMPANY.
