Simultaneously she started to create her own choreographic works in 2014 which were shown in different festivals and events around Cologne, Essen, Bochum and Augsburg. Besides the pure technical dance and dance theatre pieces she participated in various interdisciplinary project because of her musical background. Within those creations mostly in cooperation with musicians and actors she intends to approach a multilayer format of performance through the fusion of the different art forms. Since 2017 Magdalena Öttl is working as a freelance artist based in Germany and started to work with the TANZMOTO DANCE COMPANY on their current re-production of Crossing the lines.
