Jasmin Kuderntasch, born in Vienna, started dancing ballet at the age of seven years at the Vienna State Opera Balletschool. Later she discovered her interest in contemporary dance which was the reason for her to audition at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK) – former Conservatory of Vienna in 2011. First, she absolved five years of pre-college and after that – additionally to a school education in a high school with a school leaving diploma – Jasmin started a four-years “Contemporary Dance and Ballet” Bachelor of Arts programme for stage dancers. During her studies she was able to gain stage experience due to various performances. To list some examples, she dances at the annual performances at the in-house theatre of the MUK, at the “Licht ins Dunkel” gala in Andau (Burgenland), took part at an internal competition of the university and danced at the “International Concert of Dance Schools” at the Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava. At the moment (2020) Jasmin absolves the last year of her Bachelor studies and therefore she first met Mohan C. Thomas and TANZMOTO due to a stage-internship at the TANZMOTO DANCE COMPANY in September 2019. During her stay in Essen Jasmin had the possibility to perform together with members of the TANZMOTO DANCE COMPANY the piece “Falling Spaces” at Kennedyplatz in Essen on September the 22ndat the festival “Arche Noah”. Jasmin also came in touch with co-leading classes of the TANZMOTO STUDIO SPACE, and since her internship, there is the aim to also collaborate with Mohan C. Thomas and TANZMOTO in the future.
