The MOVING SCHOOL of the TANZMOTO DANCE COMPANY introduces children, teenagers and adults to all facets of dance. This concept comprises dance education projects, which are generally provided together with a cooperation partner for a certain group. They include projects for amateur dancers of any age and projects for children with and without handicaps, but first and foremost community projects and dance projects at schools and youth centres. The dancers thus go directly to the children and teenagers.

The aim is to show that dance is a way of expressing oneself and, at the same time, to contribute to educational and cultural integration in cooperation with schools and youth welfare. It is not just their profession and long-term experience that qualifies the company dancers for this work, but also their cultural roots, which could hardly be more diverse.

Based on the educational concept of the cooperation partners, the TANZMOTO DANCE COMPANY develops individual projects with different topics and organisational forms. Its services range from accompanying dance workshops in all types of schools to a – from an educational point of view – qualified participation in designing and implementing concepts for all-day schools.
